The CORE Youth Leadership Program is for Diamond In The Rough participants who express an interest and desire in serving in a leadership capacity within the organization.  CORE participants are provided additional leadership training and assist DITR adult advisors with program development and planned activities.  Participants are given the opportunity to serve in leadership roles in the following areas:

	Fieldtrips
	Leadership training
	Cultural enrichment
	Youth Advisory Board
	GEM to GEM Newsletter
	Community service projects

Members must commit to participate in CORE Leadership meetings held the 1st Saturday of every month. Requirements for participation include:

	Completed application
	Completed reference form (from one non-family member)
	One letter of recommendation (from one non-family member)
