Jeans for GEMS is a Corporate Casual Day Campaign which allows corporations to join in partnership with DITR to offer employees the opportunity to dress business casual, in exchange for financial donations to the Jeans for GEMS campaign.  The company chooses the day and duration of the campaign and is provided the resources, promotional material and support to host the event.

The benefits of participation for the corporation and employees include:

The creation of public relations and recognition opportunities

Inclusion of company’s name as sponsor on the DITR website

Inclusion of company’s name as sponsor on all DITR publications

Increased employee morale and good will by “Giving Back” to the community

Create an annual Casual / Dress Down Day on a weekly, monthly, or quarterly basis

Contributiors may receive tax incentives through contributions to our 501(c)3 organization

Satisfaction in knowing your contributions are being used to educate and empower leaders of the next generation

Build teamwork by using the Jeans for GEMS fundraising campaign as competition among teams or divisions to increase participation 

Boost morale among employees by sponsoring the first Jeans for GEMS Day as a Company and paying $5 for each participant

Corporations can promote the Jeans for GEMS Casual Day Campaign in conjunction with other company events like an ice cream day, holiday party, corporate outing, or company anniversary
