The Diamonds In Development Program is geared toward girls PreK 4 -3rd grade and offers monthly educational and entertaining activities. The purpose of the program is to build self-esteem, character, faith and friendships and to build a strong foundation.

Click here for more information The CARE Club is one of several programs offered through the Diamond In The Rough CARE Project which focuses on mental health, wellness and self-care. The CARE Club is specifically designed to provide a safe space for girls to connect as they learn to Cope, develop Awareness, build Resilience and be Empowered.
At Diamond In The Rough, we desire to see our GEMS, Jewels and families thrive mentally, emotionally, spiritually and physically, so as a result we have committed time and space to make that possible through our CARE Project. This new program aims to provide guidance, tips and resources, along with live and virtual experiences. |
The Diamond Debutante Program welcomes high school Freshman, Sophomores and Juniors who demonstrate exemplary leadership skills, possess exceptional character, and have outstanding involvement in extra-curricular activities and community service. The Diamond Debutante Program is designed to prepare young women for the future by stressing the importance of service and social grace. Registration Required.

The Diamond Discipleship program is open to all Diamond In The Rough members. These small group sessions are designed to help middle and high school GEMS develop a personal relationship with Jesus Christ and learn how to apply His Word to their daily lives. Registration Required.

The Diamond University Leadership Academy was designed to offer a variety of leadership opportunities for youth to build their leadership and their confidence. The Academy offers multiple tracks and programs for girls on the move to grow and serve. Diamond In The Rough is excited to partner with local organizations and STEM professionals to offer a series of hands workshops through our GEMS & S.T.E.Ms Program to get our GEMS excited about Science, Technology, Engineering and Math. These sessions are sure to offer a fun learning environment under the leadership of a team of passionate, trained math & science professionals.

The Helping Hands Community Service Program provides youth leaders of Diamond In The Rough the opportunity to plan and implement service projects that benefit the community at large. Whether coordinating can food drives for people in need, feeding the homeless or coordinating campaigns to raise awareness on issues pertaining to youth, it's an opportunity for our young leaders to shine.

Our semi-annual Diamond In The Rough Heart to Heart Mother/Daughter Retreat is a fabulous 2-day retreat designed for mothers and daughters to break barriers, build bridges, and strengthen their bond while creating memories to last a lifetime. This incredible event was created to strengthen one of the most precious relationships ever designed and welcomes mothers and daughters ages 10-18 years old.

The Leading Ladies Luncheon and Scholarship Benefit is a semi-annual event hosted by Diamond In The Rough to celebrate and honor women and girls who personify the character and values we promote. This "pink carpet" affair is designed to honor distinguished women who have paved the way for future generations.

The CROWNS College & Career Development Program is offered to Diamond In The Rough members with a primary focus on high school students. The purpose of CROWNS is to empower girls with skills and information that will enable them to be successful with their post-high school education and careers. The program includes monthly workshops, guest speakers, career & educational field trips, career exploration opportunities and college preparation. Members Only unless otherwise specified.

The CORE Leadership Training Academy is for Diamond In The Rough participants who express an interest and desire in serving in a leadership capacity within the organization. CORE participants are provided additional leadership training and assist DITR adult advisors with program development and planned activities. For members only.

The Great Exchange is a collaborative project between Diamond In The Rough and The 100 Black Men of North Metro - Men of Tomorrow Program. The project is designed to create dialogue, improve communication, dispel myths, and improve social skills between boys and girls. Members are hand-selected by Leadership from both organizations.

The Village Family Enrichment Program was created to empower parents and to help bridge the gap between parents and youth through regularly scheduled interactive activities, workshops & forums that encourage dialogue among families and help to form stronger bonds which build communication and trust. Most activities open to the public.
